The famous Shiv Mandir is situated in the heart of the city of Bangalore. The Mandir is home to a gigantic statue of Lord Shiva. The huge statue of Shiva is in a yogic lotus posture with the Ganga flowing out of his matted hair. He sits peacefully in an environment of serenity and tranquility, amidst the Himalayas! The proceeds of the temple go towards helping the needy in The RVM Transit Home and RVM Hospital. The RVM Transit Home and RVM Hospital has uplifted thousands of needy patients from a life of pain and suffering to that of a life of joy and happiness. Mother Teresa said, “If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one.” If you are unable to help one hundred people, start by helping one person in dire need. If you cannot contribute millions in cash, you can contribute whatever that is in your capacity. You can surely make a difference; you can bring sunshine into someone’s life.
